Job description

Purpose

Maintain and repair large and small industrial equipment. Must know, practice, and be in compliance with all safety rules and procedures. This position is also responsible for the overall maintenance of the building, grounds and equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance (60%)

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a daily, bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual basis or per preventive maintenance program: Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns. Responsible for lockout tagout (LOTO) process and procedures. Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, rigging, and other items as needed. Install additional equipment or move existing equipment with necessary support hookups. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, maintenance repairs, and inspections including maintaining records and reports. Assist in developing maintenance plans. Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Facilities and Grounds (10%)

Monitor and maintain facility grounds, which include grass trimming, weed removal, trash pick-up, parking lots, and any other activities necessary to preserve the professional appearance of the property. Painting & power wash as needed. Maintain a meticulously clean and organized work area. Responsible for the maintenance of company facilities, including offices, to meet federal and local regulatory standards. Safety (15%)

Ensure all federal and local safety regulations are followed. Fix potential safety hazards. Follow all company safety rules and procedures. Utilize all applicable personal protective equipment in the performance of duties. Report or, if qualified, correct immediately all equipment malfunctions, unsafe equipment and acts, material revisions and product deviations to supervisor.

Qualifications
