Job Summary:
This hands-on role involves loading and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse. This is a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for receiving, sorting, and routing mail and packages to the appropriate destinations within our facility or delivery network. Your attention to detail and reliability will play an important part in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Associate / Mail Sorter, you will be primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, and accurately routing incoming mail and packages. You will verify addresses, labels, and shipment details; scan and organize items; prepare outgoing mail and packages; and ensure all shipments are handled carefully to prevent damage, loss, or misrouting.
You will maintain accurate records and documentation, identify and report damaged or improperly addressed items, and ensure mail and packages are processed within daily deadlines. Operating scanners, mail-sorting equipment, and other warehouse tools safely and efficiently is an important part of the role. Maintaining a clean, organized, and secure work area while following all company safety, security, and handling procedures is expected.
When needed, you will also assist with general warehouse and moving operations, including loading and unloading shipments, wrapping and securing furniture and household goods, inspecting inbound freight, and documenting exceptions or damage. You may also assist with local or short-notice moves depending on daily workload and business needs.
You will work closely with van operators, operations staff, service providers, and customers to ensure smooth coordination and quality service. Accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, organization, and clear communication are essential to success in this position.
Additional duties may be assigned based on seasonal demands, warehouse volume, and team needs. Above all, you are expected to contribute to a safe, professional, and positive work environment while helping the company process mail efficiently, reduce claims, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
We are looking to fill a Monday–Friday shift from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturday shifts will be between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, with hours varying based on operational needs. Flexibility is required for Saturday shifts.
