Job summary

Astrolab is hiring for a Supply Chain & Procurement role in Hawthorne, CA. You will manage incoming goods, organize storage, and prepare materials for production, while coordinating with engineering and finance to keep inventory aligned with project timelines.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in warehouse ops or 2+ years in procurement, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP software or NetSuite. On-site with comprehensive benefits and equity options.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods physically and digitally into our inventory system.

• Package and arrange shipping of components to suppliers and customers.
• Work with engineering, production and finance to align inventory with timelines.

Compensation

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour

What you’ll do

• Incoming goods receiving: Receive goods physically & digitally into our inventory management system
• Warehouse management: Organize & maintain the physical storage of our direct and indirect goods by flight pedigree and other requirements compliant to our quality management system
• Production kitting: pick & kit to production materials and components necessary to execute on our production priorities
• Inventory Control: Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid disruptions in production
• Shipping and Logistics: Physically package and electronically arrange the shipping out of components to suppliers and customers
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to align inventory control activities with project timelines and budgetary constraints

What you’ll bring

Basic Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control, or 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience using inventory management, procurement, purchasing, or ERP software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using NetSuite
• Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing, technology, aerospace, or similar industry
• Experience managing multiple projects or priorities while meeting established deadlines
• Experience analyzing inventory, purchasing, or supply chain data to identify and resolve issues
