Freight Breakers LLC in Romeoville, IL is hiring material handlers for a hands-on, production-driven role. You will unload freight from trailers, build and move pallets using a pallet jack, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Shifts include Monday–Friday 6:30 PM–2:30 AM with pay ranging from $550 to $1,200+ per week through mid-November; additional Sun-Tuesday or Wed-Sat rotations may apply. Must be 18+, able to lift 50–100 lbs, and reliable to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from trailers and build pallets.
• Stack boxes onto pallets and prepare pallets for staging.
• Move pallets using a pallet jack to the staging area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety, receiving, and shipping procedures.

Freight Breakers is hiring motivated, dependable Material Handlers in Romeoville!

This is a hands‑on, production‑based position where your effort can directly impact your earnings. The more work you complete, the more you can make.

The Job

You will work as part of a team unloading freight from trailers and building pallets.

• Stack boxes from trailers onto wooden pallets
• Build stable, organized pallets
• Use a pallet jack to move completed pallets to the staging area
• Bring a new pallet back and repeat the process
• Work on a variety of loading and unloading assignments
• When you're not actively working on a truck, you will remain on the clock and be paid hourly

Pay

• Earn $550–$1,200+ per week
• Production pay varies depending on the truck and assignment
• The more you produce, the more you can earn
• Hourly pay applies when you're working but not actively assigned to a truck

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 6:30 PM–2:30 AM | $550–$1,200+ Per Week until mid-November

Sun-Tuesday 6pm-6am or Wed-Sat 6pm-4:30am

Employees may be released early depending on workload, production goals, and completion of assigned work.

Requirements

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
