Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a shipping/warehouse worker to pull orders, load and unload trailers, and maintain a clean, safe work area to support on-time distribution. The role requires accuracy in receiving and recording goods and adherence to company policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of shipping experience, the ability to lift up to 20 lbs, and the stamina to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more months shipping or related experience.
• No educational prerequisite; however, must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.

Responsibilities

• Pulls orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming and outgoing trailers according to the shipping schedule.
• Ensures that product received from production or other plants is recorded correctly.
• Load and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules.
