Job summary

Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a responsible team member to load outbound products onto trailers with accuracy and safety in mind.

You will fill out outbound paperwork and perform essential duties, including meeting production standards and complying with safety policies. This full-time role requires 18+ with DC experience and weekend/overtime availability.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED plus six months DC experience and six months order filler experience.
• Must be at least age 18.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Math skills including basic arithmetic.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and work with concrete variables.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet production standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or general education degree (GED) plus six months distribution center experience and six months order filler experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
