Job summary

Airgas in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Warehouse/Loader to support receiving, stocking, and shipping operations. You will move, sort, and stock materials, track inventory, and prepare parcels for shipping. Forklift operation and safety compliance are essential.

You may also back up as a driver, delivering cylinders and hardgoods, loading and unloading trucks, while maintaining accurate vehicle documentation and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive branch inventory and perform standard warehouse duties.
• Move and sort materials on racks, shelves, or designated areas by hand, hand-truck, dolly, and/or forklift.
• Account for incoming and outgoing stock; update order/inventory status in the system.
• Pack parcels for mailing or third-party shipping; stock and track inventory.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Backup driver: deliver cylinders and hardgoods to customers; load/unload trucks.

As a vital part of our local team, this individual will be responsible for receiving branch inventory, and other warehouse duties.
