Job summary

Pet Food Experts seeks a Warehouse Loader to ensure accurate order loading and safe handling of goods. You will read orders, load trailers, and verify weights and paperwork for each route. Forklift, pallet jack and reach truck experience is preferred, with a Monday–Friday 3PM shift and progression pay. Join a growing national pet-products distributor.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands English in order to follow work orders and documentation.

• Experience with warehouse equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to confirm customer information, order numbers, pallet count and wrap outgoing orders.
• Load assigned frozen tubs and transportation equipment (e.g., power jack, hand truck).
• Load trailer/route with proper weight distribution and complete relevant paperwork.
• Confirm trailer assignment, dock plate and trailer cleanliness.
• Ensure accuracy of customer information and order details while loading.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and reach truck safely to move goods.

The Loader is responsible for ensuring all outgoing orders are accounted for, audited and loaded into the trailer in a safe, secure and accurate manner.

• Read work orders to confirm customer information, order numbers, pallet count and wrap outgoing orders.
• Load assigned frozen tubs’ transportation equipment (e.g. power jack, hand truck)
• Load trailer/route ensuring proper weight distribution
• Confirm trailer assignment, complete appropriate paperwork, position, dock plate and ensure trailer is clean.
• Confirm, customer information, order numbers, pallet count and wrap outgoing orders
• Load trailer/route ensuring proper weight distribution
• Load assigned frozen tubs for each route and load transportation equipment (e.g. power jack, hand truck)

Requirements

• Candidate must have ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers
• Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude
• Requires high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity in the control of forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack
• Must be able to meet specific goals for efficiency and accuracy
• High School Education or equivalent
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck), preferred

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 3PM - Until the work is complete

• Starting Pay: $20.40 per hour.
• Guaranteed Pay Increases: Employees receive a pay increase after 6 months of employment and an additional increase after 1 year of service and beyond
