Ryder in Reading, PA is hiring full-time Load Securement Specialists to join our warehouse distribution operation with a stable weekly pay cycle, on-the-job training, and a safety-first environment.

Typical duties include loading, picking, packing, shipping and forklift operation, with emphasis on accuracy and collaboration. Requirements include a high school diploma and forklift certification, ability to lift up to 35 lb, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License required/certified.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to lift/pull/push up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible schedule across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load, pickup, pack, ship, and receive goods.
• Operate forklift and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems.
• Perform duties within contract performance guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $26.87 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $40.30 per hour when working overtime
• Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm. Overtime mandated during the last week of every month!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
