Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team and support safe, efficient handling of engine and HVAC parts. The role involves operating stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts, and contributing to packing, picking, and shipping tasks.

You will receive on-the-job training, work flexible shifts, and participate in a dynamic, safety-first environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, and staging of products.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse environments (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
