Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Leadhand for the 3rd shift in Franklin, WI. You will supervise a shift, coordinate shipping and inventory activities, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations at a 340,000 sq ft conversion facility.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining records, performing SAP transactions, and collaborating across departments to meet productivity goals. Must have GMP familiarity, lift truck certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Lift truck certification or ability to obtain Lift Truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications; SAP a plus.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; lead others through change.
• Strong team player with leadership ability and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of team members, coordinating shipping and/or warehouse operations including schedules, loading, and material handling.
• Perform product inventory activities and report variances.
• Provide training to new and current employees; document training progression and gaps.
• Manage work schedules and backfill vacancies to minimize disruption.
• Suggest improvements to reduce costs and drive productivity while achieving Sales to Service goals.
• Perform SAP transactions and complete required documentation.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist others in solving issues.
• Maintain time and shipping records; prepare required reports.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and organized and coordinate product rework when needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize operational disruption.
• Back-up Warehouse Driver and Shipping Clerk duties as required.
• Adhere to Saputo ethics and values; perform other duties as assigned.

This includes coordinating and assigning customer orders, shipments, receiving product, addressing product and employee concerns, and problem resolving.
