Job summary

Grupo Chilero, LLC seeks a Warehouse Lead to oversee receiving, storage, and inventory control for finished and raw materials. You will coordinate with Sales, Distributors, and the DC Manager to maintain an efficient operation and safe working environment.

Responsibilities include managing incoming shipments, HACCP inspection, ERP-based order picking, staging, and transfers, while ensuring safety and accuracy across all warehouse activities.

Qualifications

  • High school degree required.
  • 2+ years' experience in warehouse and inventory management.
  • 2+ years' experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish recommended.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Experience utilizing various warehouse equipment, including forklift and shrink wrap machinery.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and move up to 250 lbs.

Job Description

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for all the activities of the warehouse, including receiving material handling and the organization of finished and raw material within the warehouse. Work and coordinate closely with the Sales, Distributors and Distribution Center Manager.

Primary function
  • Coordinate the activities involved with incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and shipment conditions
  • Verify and keep records on incoming shipments.
  • Verity incoming notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records.
  • Organization of the Warehouse.
  • Participates in Companywide inventory activity.
  • Determines space requirements for all finished goods.
  • Inspect all incoming trucks for HACCP compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Distribution Center Manager on inventories need.
  • Compliance with all Company safety regulations.
  • Inspect and conduct safety inspections of all material handling equipment for defects and notifies the Distribution Center Manager for directions.
  • Perform the duties in shipping and receiving, including picking, staging, and transferring orders using the ERP systems through scanners
  • Perform all other duties as required by the Distribution Center Manager to avoid disruption in the work process.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Distribution Center Manager.
Requirements
  • High school degree required
  • 2+ years' experience in warehouse and inventory management
  • 2+ years' experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent job duties
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a recommended.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Experience utilizing various warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, shrink wrap machinery.
  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 50 pounds and moving 300-pound barrels.
