Job summary

Berger Moving & Storage is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Chino, CA to manage daily warehouse functions, receive and store HHG, and supervise the warehouse team. The role includes loading/unloading, inventory control, and ensuring safety and accuracy in operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of warehouse experience, distribution background, and forklift certification preferred. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying temperatures. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of Warehouse experience is required (2 years is preferred).
• Background in distribution and logistics is required.
• Comfortable and experienced using barcode scanning system preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Furniture handling experience and distribution experience is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs., carrying, pushing and/or pulling.
• Fundamental knowledge of inventory control.
• Willingness to implement safety procedures and standards in all warehouse operations.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with temperature extrema.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily functions of receiving HHG’s for storage.
• Perform Warehouse functions (loading and unloading orders, stocking inventory, and maintaining warehouse).
• Monitor house and assign tasks to Warehouse team.
• Utilize Inventory Control System (Windfall).
• Planning, organizing and controlling of warehouse overall operations.
• Responsible for security of stock in warehouse.
• Oversees daily distribution of work assignments and material flow.
• Operates heavy forklift work in compliance with OSHA requirements.
