Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to provide support to the Branch by expediting parts to the Drivers for delivery to customers as well as for delivery to other Branches of the company.

The role involves pulling orders, loading/unloading materials, stocking inventory, packing and shipping, weighing items and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. A High School Diploma or GED and forklift certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by picking ticket.
• Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets and into vehicles; secure loads for transit.
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
• Package, label and ship customer orders by UPS, US Mail, bus, motor freight and local truck deliveries.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
• Complete forklift operator training annually, provided by company.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure safety compliance.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting damage to supervisors.
• Train new employees on proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Work on special projects as appointed by the warehouse manager.
