Job summary

Sullivan Family Distribution Centers is seeking a Warehouse Lead at our Waipahu, HI facility to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate receiving and inventory control. You will train and coach team members, monitor productivity, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams while upholding food safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse/receiving experience, including at least 1–3 years in a lead/supervisory capacity.
• Working knowledge of inventory control practices and productivity standards.
• Ability to plan work, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong people-leadership skills, including coaching, training, and performance documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain/maintain certification) and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and supervise staff to ensure timely receiving and inventory control.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance documentation; support performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Promote a safe, respectful work environment and model company standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure accuracy of records.
• Maintain quality and productivity metrics; identify opportunities to improve accuracy and cost control.
• Oversee inventory integrity activities such as counts, bin maintenance, and periodic inventories.
• Report and resolve nonconformances; ensure proper handling and disposal of damaged materials.
