Job summary

Reach Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide a team of warehouse associates and ensure daily operations run smoothly. You will oversee task execution, provide on-the-job training, and serve as a key link between the team and management.

The role requires 2–3 years of warehouse experience, a HS diploma, and forklift certification. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to maintain safety and efficiency while using WMS systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assign and delegate daily tasks to warehouse staff, monitoring progress to ensure all receiving, picking, and shipping goals are met.
• Provide direct, hands-on training and mentorship to new and existing team members on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the team, addressing questions, resolving immediate issues, and escalating complex problems to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to assist with a wide range of warehouse tasks.
• Conduct regular quality checks on packed orders and inventory to maintain accuracy and prevent shipping errors.
• Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure and productive work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment; a current forklift certification is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to guide and motivate a team.

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory scanning technology.

Physical Demands

• Manual Dexterity: Typing or otherwise working primarily with hands or fingers in an office environment.

• Sedentary work: Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including computers, papers, and other general office equipment.

• Seeing: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
