Ready to take the next step in your career journey? The Warehouse Lead performs supervisory and other management responsibilities while performing production unloading assignments. Leads distribute unloading assignments to handlers and coordinate unloading activities at the direction of the department manager. Leads manage the completion of administrative paperwork for reporting daily activity to the corporate office and have some responsibility for ensuring compliance with all FHI policies and procedures. This position is designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures.
Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday. Handle cases weighing from 25 to 95 pounds and can expect to handle between 50 and 200+ pallets on any given day. The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environments.
