Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join its team. This role provides leadership, ensures safe and efficient operations, and coordinates order fulfillment for timely customer service.

Responsibilities include directing daily warehouse activities, unloading deliveries, pulling/staging orders, and maintaining accuracy and security of loads. ABC Supply offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a leading building products distributor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift 75-100 pounds minimum.
• Forklift experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Building materials experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and direction to the warehouse team
• Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse
• Responding to calls from the sales floor in a timely and professional manner
• Completing pick ticket orders
• Unloading/receiving all deliveries
• Pulling and staging orders for each company delivery truck
• Performing rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis
• Providing customer service
• Double checking all loads for accuracy and securing for delivery
• Operating forklifts safely and responsibly
• Delivery assistance including unloading and staging at jobsites as assigned
• Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30sm-4:30pm

Specific duties may include:

• Providing leadership and direction to the warehouse team
• Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse

• Pulling and staging orders for each company delivery truck

• Operating forklifts safely and responsibly
• Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned
• Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
