Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise shipping and receiving, ensuring on-time loading of finished goods and accurate documentation such as bills of lading and invoices.

You will coordinate trailer loading locations, relay instructions to warehouse equipment, and guide a team of associates while upholding SQF food safety standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Oracle systems or similar storage/ERP tools is a plus.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate shipping/receiving teams in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the communication flow to load finished product to trailers.
  • Prepare documentation such as Bill of Lading and invoices.
  • Coordinate trailer loading locations and communicate instructions to warehouse equipment.
  • Manage a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
  • Ensure SQF food safety practices and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Identify and communicate deviations or issues with equipment, processes, or products.

Warehouse Lead

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers and the preparation of documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions
  • Ability to complete all essential function of Warehouse Associate position
  • Leading group of shipping and receiving team members
  • Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers.
  • Communicate the instructions to the equipment inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinates the location where each trailer will be loaded.
  • Prepares the documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communication with carriers to ensure on time and form the collection and / or loading of the finished product.
  • Review of operator and carrier line data in Tracking Platform.
  • Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
  • Communicate any deviation, problem and / or abnormality with the equipment, processes and products.
  • Any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked to be done by team member's manager or supervisor

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Hourly
