Job summary

TranSouth Logistics is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Lead to supervise receiving, picking, staging, processing and packaging of inbound and outbound orders. Schedule is Mon - Fri from 6 am to 4 pm.

You will lead daily warehouse activities, train associates, and drive safety, quality and productivity in support of the leadership team. Ideal candidates have proven warehouse experience and can operate forklifts, RF scanners and other equipment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift, RF scanner and pallet jack safely.

Responsibilities

• Process, package and ship orders accurately.
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments.
• Organize warehouse space.
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items.
• Check, verify and fill customer orders.
• Abide by all safety and hygiene regulations.

Job description

TranSouth Logistics is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Lead. The schedule for this position is Mon - Fri from 6 am - 4pm. This individual is responsible for receiving, picking, staging, processing, and packaging of inbound and/or outbound orders. This individual should be able to handle a heavy workload while at the same time meeting and exceeding all TranSouth standards in terms of productivity, quality, customer service, safety, and housekeeping.

Warehouse Lead position responsibilities:

• Provide daily hands on support for the department.
• Responsible for the picking, staging, processing and packaging of all outbound orders.
• Assign work loads and housekeeping tasks, adjusting resources, resolving problems and ensuring all orders are properly picked, packaged, and staged by the end of the shift.
• Train and mentor new associates.
• Drive compliance with safety, quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently
