DwyerOmega is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily manufacturing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate material flow, inventory control, and safety/compliance on the shop floor.

You will supervise staff, coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, drive continuous improvements, and partner with production, shipping and quality teams to achieve on-time delivery and optimal space usage.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, forklift certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of materials to production lines.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain high accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Train, mentor, and support warehouse team members to meet performance and safety expectations.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA standards).
• Collaborate with production, shipping, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization.
• Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scales, pallet jacks).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions (5S principles preferred).
• Assist in scheduling and assigning daily tasks to warehouse personnel.
• Help all employees understand policies and procedures and brings issues to supervisor if there are concerns or violations.
• Maintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred)
• Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
• Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• OSHA safety training or certification

Physical/Mental Essential Functions:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures typical of warehouse environments

Working Conditions:

Work environment is very fast paced. Work is primarily conducted on the shop floor.
