Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead at Fort Bragg, NC, to manage high-value property and oversee inbound/outbound shipments for a government contract.

The role requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and extensive logistics experience on federal sites. Responsibilities include inventory control, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and leading warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery and secure handling of IT equipment.

Qualifications

  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
  • Minimum of 5 years of field logistics experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software.
  • Ability to travel worldwide, including remote or austere locations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks, audits, and accounts for high-value property within government property system.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of warehouse materials and managed within government accountability system.
  • Directs the operational flow, facility safety, HAZMAT compliance, and secure shipping/receiving for a designated federal site.
  • Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Pickup and stage material for shipping.
  • Able to maintain driver license in support of government furnished vehicle.
  • Recruit and train warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients’ criteria.
  • Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications, and costs.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers.
  • Maintain customer service logs and safety records.
  • Maintain a safe work area.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of IT equipment.

Job Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Location: Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, NC

This position is pending contract award.

Job Responsibilities
  • Tracks, audits, and accounts for high-value property within government property system.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to travel worldwide, including to remote or austere locations.
  • Minimum of (5) five years of field logistics experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer goods industry.
  • Able to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software.
Desired Qualification
  • Experience supporting SOCOM, CENTCOM, AFRICOM, TRANSCOM, Space Force, or other Combatant Command environments.
  • Experience supporting OCONUS operations and remote-site sustainment activities.
  • Prior military service or experience supporting DOD customers.
Education
  • A Bachelor’s degree paired with 5+ years of DoD logistics experience OR a minimum of 10 years experience in lieu of a bachelors degree.
