IDI: Insulation Distributors Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead to assist DC management in efficient warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, customer deliveries, inventory maintenance and staff training. Responsibilities

• Order Processing and Fulfillment: Place orders, pull materials, verify quantities and types against orders, support deliveries.
• Receiving and Inventory Management: Unload, put away stock, note damaged goods, assist in inventories and cycle counts.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain clear aisles, report unsafe issues, follow safety regulations, complete safety training.
• Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service, fulfill driver duties, assist DC Manager.
• Other Duties: Perform other beneficial tasks as needed by IDI.

Job Summary

Compensation: $24.54 - $30.71 / hour
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting DC management in efficiently executing warehouse operations, which include order fulfillment, customer deliveries, warehouse organization, inventory maintenance, and training of warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Order Processing and Fulfillment
• Place orders via computer sales order process.
• Pull materials to fill orders via a pick ticket in an organized fashion.
• Check pulled goods quantity and type against sales orders to confirm accuracy.
• Support the delivery of goods to customer-specified sites utilizing company transport vehicles as needed.
• Confirm delivery information with the customer before the delivery leaves the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods at each site in a safe and secure fashion.
• Ensure loads are properly secured prior to transport.

• Receiving and Inventory Management
• Unload and receive stock replenishment materials into the warehouse.
• Put away goods received according to instructions of DC management.
• Note any damaged goods in the receiving process and notify.
• Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counting.
• Count inventory and inventory whereabouts correctly and efficiently.

• Safety and Compliance
• Ensure clear and safe passages in all warehouse aisles and loading docks.
• Report all unsafe storage and equipment issues to DC management immediately.
• Observe all safety regulations.
• Participate in all safety training and maintain required safety certifications.

• Customer Service and Support
• Provide exceptional customer service in all facets of interaction.
• Fulfill driver duties as needed.
• Support the DC Manager in warehouse operations.

• Other Duties

Qualifications/Skills

• Equipment Operation
• Operate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, and shrink wrapper.

• Identification and Coding
• Identify product numbers and alpha/numeric codes.

• Must meet physical requirements of the job.

• Use/learn computer order entry and inventory systems.

Education And/or Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 – 4+ years’ experience in warehouse facility preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
