Job summary

Amcor in Dalton, GA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise inventory, shipping/receiving, and daily warehouse operations. You will coordinate staff, ensure accuracy, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Lead Position Summary The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials and products. This role coordinates warehouse activities, maintains inventory accuracy, supports shipping and receiving functions, and promotes a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials. Shipping & Receiving
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate carrier pickups.
  • Track shipments and address delivery issues as needed. Warehouse Operations
  • Organize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the movement of products and materials throughout the facility.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is operated safely and maintained properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas. Team Coordination
  • Communicate daily priorities and workflow requirements to warehouse staff.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Customer Service, and other departments.
  • Provide training and guidance on warehouse procedures and best practices.
  • Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
  • Report and document workplace incidents, hazards, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in safety meetings and inspections.
