Job Title and Location

Storekeeper Lead at our Tonawanda, NY location.

Job Summary

As a Storekeeper Lead, you will manage and support warehouse staff at our Tonawanda facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receive shipments and check items against packing lists.
2. Conduct inventory counts with minimal supervision.
3. Identify overstocking and shortages, highlighting issues not caught by formal controls.
4. Maintain shipping/receiving records.
5. Issue components for manufacturing and sales orders, including those not physically moved through Stores.
6. Inspect critical components against design data sheets.
7. Ensure Hazardous Material Compliance.
8. Follow ISO9001 quality systems to ensure high standards and procedural compliance.
9. Perform tasks involving lifting, stacking, ladder climbing, and forklift operation, with or without accommodations.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Set daily priorities and oversee procedures.
2. Represent the department in meetings.
3. Inspect forklifts and oil skids daily, and manage receipt reports for purchasing.
4. Serve as Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DSGA).

Overtime may be required and will be compensated according to company policy.

Must Have

• Associate degree with at least 3 years of experience in Stores/Shipping.
• Experience with carrier paperwork and hazardous materials compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Management and training experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• SAP experience.
