IDI: Insulation Distributors Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Boise, ID to assist management with efficient warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, deliveries, inventory control, and staff training.

The role requires forklift experience, strong physical stamina, and proficiency with order entry and inventory systems. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service while supporting the DC Manager and team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, shrink wrapper.
• Ability to identify product numbers and alphanumeric codes.
• Must meet physical requirements of the job.
• Experience using order entry and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist DC management in warehouse operations including order fulfillment and deliveries.
• Receive stock, count and put away inventory, conduct cycle counts.
• Ensure safety and compliance, report unsafe conditions and maintain certifications.
• Provide customer service and support to drivers and DC Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed to support IDI.

Compensation: $22.31 - $27.92 / hour

Job Summary

Compensation: $22.31 - $27.92 / hour The Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting DC management in efficiently executing warehouse operations, which include order fulfillment, customer deliveries, warehouse organization, inventory maintenance, and training of warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Order Processing and Fulfillment
  • Place orders via computer sales order process.
  • Pull materials to fill orders via a pick ticket in an organized fashion.
  • Check pulled goods quantity and type against sales orders to confirm accuracy.
  • Support the delivery of goods to customer-specified sites utilizing company transport vehicles as needed.
  • Confirm delivery information with the customer before the delivery leaves the warehouse.
  • Load and unload goods at each site in a safe and secure fashion.
  • Ensure loads are properly secured prior to transport.
• Receiving and Inventory Management
  • Unload and receive stock replenishment materials into the warehouse.
  • Put away goods received according to instructions of DC management.
  • Note any damaged goods in the receiving process and notify.
  • Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counting.
  • Count inventory and inventory whereabouts correctly and efficiently.
• Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure clear and safe passages in all warehouse aisles and loading docks.
  • Report all unsafe storage and equipment issues to DC management immediately.
  • Observe all safety regulations.
  • Participate in all safety training and maintain required safety certifications.
• Customer Service and Support
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all facets of interaction.
  • Fulfill driver duties as needed.
  • Support the DC Manager in warehouse operations.
• Other Duties

Qualifications/Skills
