Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or using forklift, hand truck, or pallet jack.
• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to determine materials to move.
• Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Conveys materials from storage to loading area as directed.
• Counts and records number of units moved, noting breakage and spoilage.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials and marks information on containers.
• Stacks or bundles materials and wraps bundles; performs housekeeping duties in warehouse and sales areas.
• Wears company-provided uniform and safety equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
