Job summary

Distribution International is seeking a dedicated Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse team member to deliver and unload products at customer sites and support warehouse operations. The role requires operating a local CMV, reading English, and using navigation software, with shifts starting early in the morning and significant indoor activity.

Eligible candidates will have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience, a valid license, and a DMV record deemed acceptable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required for vehicle operation.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001–26,000 lbs).
• Clean DMV record.
• Willing to perform warehouse duties as needed.
• Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• Currently hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations.
• Assist in the Warehouse as needed to receive, store and distribute inventory.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
• Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
• Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.
• Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Travel Requirements

Eighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00
