Job summary

Texas Wood Supply in Mission, TX is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to support receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

You will unload trucks, prepare and sort materials, maintain inventory, and ensure safety while working with forklifts and basic warehouse tasks. No prior experience required; a high school diploma or GED is expected, and strong reading, writing and math skills help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually.
• Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
• Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service
• Wear the proper safety equipment.
• Forklift operation for various tasks including the maintenance

• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
• Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service
• Wear the proper safety equipment.
• Forklift operation for various tasks including the maintenance
