Job summary

Numericable is hiring a Warehouse Laborer in Lakeland, FL. The role entails storage, maintenance, and packing of materials, with possible driving to job sites using personal or company vehicles. The candidate will operate warehouse equipment and help prepare and deliver orders while maintaining safety and organization.

Qualifications

Job description

The Warehouse Laborer position is responsible for storage, maintenance, and packing of materials, and preparation of orders efficiently and profitably. The role may include driving to job sites using personal or company vehicles, operating machinery in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining safety standards. An open schedule with overtime available is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders
• Pull materials and place them in the delivery area; assist with deliveries as needed
• Maintain inventory controls
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor
• Re-build lights by changing batteries, installing new batteries, and light repairs
• General warehouse cleanup – sweeping, organizing, etc.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform all other duties as assigned
