Responsibilities

• Load boxes and packages onto conveyor systems to test automated material handling equipment.
• Monitor packages as they travel through the conveyor system to verify proper operation.
• Walk throughout the facility to inspect equipment performance and identify issues.
• Retrieve boxes and repeat testing procedures as directed.
• Assist with staging materials and maintaining organized testing areas.
• Report equipment malfunctions or irregularities to supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform other warehouse support and testing duties as assigned.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Laborer:

• Load boxes and packages onto conveyor systems to test automated material handling equipment

• Monitor packages as they travel through the conveyor system to verify proper operation

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is helpful but not required

• Must be able to life 50 lbs

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and repeatedly lift and move boxes

• Comfortable working around automated conveyor systems and warehouse equipment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Steel-toe or safety boots are required

• Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times while on the job site

• Background check required
