Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner in New Jersey to maintain sanitation in facilities. You will operate equipment, handle chemicals, and support general janitorial duties.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Benefits are available; prior cleaning and customer service experience are preferred but not required for motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Service and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Move furniture and equipment to clean areas as needed.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions.
• Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Notify management of repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
