Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across building facilities. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, handling chemical cleaners, and performing general janitorial duties as needed.

Pay is $16.38/hr with shifts Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm or Sun-Wed 6am-4:30pm. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. Entry-level friendly, veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Required: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Required: A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of Warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Service and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using cleaning solutions and tools.
• Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
• Notify management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems.

Pay: $16.38/hr. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Available Shift: Wed. - Sat.: 6am - 4:30pm OR Sun. -Wed.: 6am - 4:30pm

• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
• Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
• Notify management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
