Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring for Warehouse Janitorial Associate/Cleaning Crew Member. This full-time role offers a fast-paced environment with a focus on workplace safety and routine cleaning duties across restrooms, offices, and common areas.

Shifts vary, including 6:00-5:00am with weekend coverage. Starting pay is $15 per hour, and benefits such as medical and 401k are available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Walk and stand for long periods (up to 10–12 hours) while moving through the facility.
• Able to read safety rules and manuals in English; Spanish as allowed by state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, break areas, and office spaces.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and manage trash.
• Keep walkways clean and clear at all times.
• Clean totes and other items; assist with some deep cleaning.
• Follow safety and quality standards; perform other janitorial duties as assigned.

6:00-5:00am

Starting Pay: $15 per hour

Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial positions perform the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift:

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash
• Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Clean totes and other items
• Some deep cleaning, as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements For Our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial Positions

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
