Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Forklift training to be completed within a reasonable timeframe after hire.
• Ability to remain composed, professional, and solution-oriented when priorities change.
• Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform accurate counts of inventory items.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load all trucks and deliveries for the utility.
• Stock materials on the proper shelves and rotate stock as needed.
• Distribute and record all material to crews.
• Keep the warehouses and dock area neat and swept.
• Check inventory as needed to keep it accurate.
• Check fuel levels and maintain tanks, pumps, and surrounding area as needed.
• Deliver packages to proper departments (FedEx, UPS, truck freight, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
