Job summary

Florida Tile, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Handler to manage stock, receipts, and shipments in a fast-paced warehouse in Eugene, OR. You will pull orders, verify shipments, operate a forklift, and participate in cycle counts to ensure accuracy.

Candidates should have at least two years of inventory experience, basic math and computer literacy, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of inventory handling and experience.
• Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to speak both English & Spanish preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Flooring or tile industry experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare orders by pulling material from stock.
• Participates in the shipping of company goods to various customers.
• Verifies accuracy of shipments.
• Processes paperwork and signatures of shipments.
• Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Pulls orders via pick ticket and handles pick ticket process.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks for receiving stock and transport prep.
• Participates in physical inventory to verify stock and gains/losses.
• Cleans warehouse for a safe, sanitary workplace.
• Performs other duties to ensure an efficient operation.
• Utilizes computer based inventory, tracking, shipping and ordering systems.
• Serve as a backup driver for the delivery truck.
