Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Commissary Worker to receive and process incoming stock, prepare orders for delivery to inmates, and conduct inventory and quality control. The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and may require adapting duties by location needs.

Responsibilities include transfers from the warehouse, receiving and inspecting items, storing them correctly, and packaging for delivery following procedures. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise from the warehouse.
• Receives products and merchandise, checks for quality and damage to items, and the accurate storage of the delivered products and merchandise.
• Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Perform physical inventory as needed
• Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for delivery according to established procedures.
