Job summary

RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Inventory Specialist for the 2nd shift in Menomonee Falls, WI. This full-time role runs 4:00 pm–12:30 am or until completion, focusing on inventory accuracy and process improvements.

You will work with the warehouse manager to update SOPs, ensure efficient stock placement, and support daily cycle counts. The position requires at least 2 years in inventory control and proficiency with RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inventory control and SKU management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and RF / Android-based scanning devices.
• Ability to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
• Comfortable with environmental conditions (heat/cold, noise, dust).
• Comfortable with heights (20’-30’).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accuracy of all in-bound shipments and discrepancy reporting.
• Maintain shipping records such as returns, damage, and discrepancies.
• Verify inventory levels through daily cycles counts vs physical counts.
• Replenish pick locations and condense product to maximize density and efficiency.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse; manage backorder reports.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Distribution Warehouse Inventory Specialist Summary

Full-time | Monday-Friday | 4:00 pm- 12:30 am or until completion

Responsible for all aspects of inventory management, ensuring inventory accuracy, researching discrepancies, strategic inventory placement, replenishment, and following up with associates when errors are identified. The specialist will work closely with the warehouse manager on recommending process improvements and updating SOPs accordingly.

• Previous work experience in a distribution warehouse
• 1 year of previous stand-up forklift experience
• Eclipse Warehouse Management System experience

Distribution Warehouse Inventory Specialist Duties

• Responsible for accuracy of all in-bound shipments. Checks supplier’s counts and reports discrepancies to carrier and supervisor
• Maintains other shipping records such as returned merchandise, damage, discrepancies, etc.
• Verify inventory levels through daily system cycle counts against physical counts
• Replenish warehouse primary pick locations to capacity
• Condense product to maximize warehouse density and pick efficiency
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse
• Manage and maintain backorder reports
• Responsible for ensuring accurate receipt/shipment and appropriate handling of merchandise
• Other duties as assigned by management
