Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for the 1st shift (8:00am–4:30pm). This on-site role requires handling loading/unloading, inventory control, and strict safety practices to meet customer needs and production schedules.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, reliability, and basic math skills, with experience operating material handling equipment and valid driver’s license. Training on safety policies is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Attend safety, department, and company meetings.
• Follow safety policies and safe work practices at all times.
• Prioritize and efficiently stage, load, and unload material.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Inspect material and report discrepancies or quality issues.
• Ensure material traceability throughout the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and related equipment safely.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members.
