Job summary

Penske Logistics in Shippensburg, PA is seeking an Inventory Clerk to help maintain accurate warehouse inventory. You will work under the inventory control manager to ensure the WMS reflects physical stock and to resolve discrepancies using various control methods.

The role involves data entry, receiving inventory, and auditing inbound receipts. The position runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a $21.00 base pay plus a $1.00 shift differential and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Read, write, understand and speak English.
• Handle multiple tasks with precision and follow-up.
• Must learn WMS and internal applications on the job.
• Use handheld devices/scanners for inventory tasks.
• Regular, reliable attendance and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system count matches physical inventory.
• Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level.
• Update WMS to reflect physical inventory.
• Accurately receive inventory and assist checkers.
• Audit inbound receipts and related documentation.
• Analyze reports to identify rotation issues.
• Document root causes and participate in special projects.
• Train peers on inventory procedures.
