Job summary

Rush-Enterprises in Irving, TX is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to keep operations running smoothly. You will handle inventory accuracy, record-keeping, and customer service, ensuring goods move safely and on time.

This role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, forklift training within 90 days, and a valid driver license. You’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse, follow safety policies, and support drivers with shipments and returns.

Qualifications

• Must lift 25 pounds or more as required by position.
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets insurer guidelines.
• Forklift training must be completed and certification obtained within 90 days; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments; match counts to packing slips and enter into system.
• Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours; place in correct bin locations and barcode.
• Assign locations and update system; label and organize parts.
• Check in and process inter-branch shipments; generate picking lists.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and keep parts and paperwork organized.
• Process junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide accurate driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure parts are in resale condition.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when needed.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.
