Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. in Brownstown, MI is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to oversee all inventory control activities. You will develop and execute the location’s inventory strategy to control costs, maximize working capital, and support production goals.

Compensation starts at $19.00/hour with a $2.00/hour differential after 5:00 pm, and a 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm schedule. Includes a $1,000 retention bonus and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending and climbing
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
• Ability to work on feet all day and pay attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain inventory and stock locations
• Conduct perpetual inventory counts and accuracy checks
• Minimize overstocks and obsolete materials to maximize working capital
• Ensure goods are received and stored according to procedures
• Ensure materials are ready for production when required
• Provide routine inventory performance metrics
• Implement processes to reduce inventory and costs

Role Summary

Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Inventory Specialist for our Brownstown, MI location. In this role you will be responsible for all inventory control-related activities. As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist, you will develop the location’s inventory management strategy, intending to control costs within budgetary limits, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize available working capital.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory, including stock and stock locations.
• Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks
• Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital.
• Ensure that the good inward/ stock control department is well-organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and business goals
• Ensure incoming products are received and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
• Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
• Provide routine management information on inventory performance
• Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs, and maximize working capital.

• Do you have forklift operator or other PIT equipment experience? (Preferred, but not required)
