Job summary

Jenkins Plumbing Company seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, material distribution, and staff. This role ensures materials and equipment are received, stored, and distributed to support residential plumbing construction projects efficiently and accurately.

You will supervise staff, coordinate orders and deliveries, monitor stock levels, and drive process improvements while maintaining safety and organization.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in plumbing, construction, or building materials preferred.
• Strong inventory management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead employees and manage daily warehouse operations.
• Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storing, and distributing plumbing materials and supplies.
• Supervise, train, and manage warehouse employees.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular counts.
• Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and distribution to job sites.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and excess costs.
• Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with branch managers, supervisors, and purchasing teams to meet project needs.
• Manage shipping, receiving, and equipment tracking.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of warehouse equipment and company vehicles.
