Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Stock Manager in Santa Barbara to lead stocking teams, optimize inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards. You will drive timely dock-to-stock operations, coordinate with purchasing, and ensure high levels of customer service and orderly warehouse conditions.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of stock management experience, expertise in supply chain and logistics, and hands-on skills with WMS, RF tech, and conveyors.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years experience as a stock manager.
  • Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time-sensitive distribution.
  • Experience with WMS/inventory management systems, RF technology, and conveyor technology.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to dynamic order flow.
  • Self-starter who can identify areas drifting behind in production and take proactive action to get back on track.
  • Experience tracking metrics, including KPIs such as inbound/outbound productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the stocking team and ensure shelves are neat and orderly.
  • Meet customer service goals consistently.
  • Set picking goals for each warehouse area.
  • Ensure dock to stock within 72 hours.
  • Coordinate unloading of orders from vendors and stocking them.
  • Maintain 5S standards and OSHA/DOT safety practices.
  • Manage carrier relationships (FedEx, UPS, USPS) and local delivery.
