PAQ, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Inventory Control professional for the night shift at our on-site Distribution Center. You will track stock levels, conduct counts, and support logistics between locations, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires adherence to safety and inventory standards. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in warehouse inventory or clerk roles, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with WMS, Outlook, and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over one year of Warehouse Clerk experience preferred.
• Proficient in Outlook and Excel/Word; WMS knowledge.
• OSHA forklift training completion preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock management systems.
• Ensure stock levels comply with parameters and perform physical counts.
• Develop inventory control models to reduce stock and lead times.

Job Summary

The Distribution Center (DC) Inventory Control is responsible for keeping track of all products and supplies, ensuring that stock levels are appropriate and all items are accounted to ensure smooth and efficient management of inventory.

Essential Functions of the Position

• Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards
• Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters
• Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels
• Assist in the organization of inventory in warehouses and perform physical counts of inventory
• Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain inventory goals
• Conduct regular inventory audits and provide detailed reports of inventory status
• Coordinate the logistics of orders and transfers of goods between different locations
• Identify and report any stock discrepancies to management
• Track and monitor receipt, storage, distribution and disposal of all items in inventory
• Utilize inventory management software to track and analyze inventory trends

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8‑hour shifts
• Lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and handling products
• Climbing ladders or scaffolding to perform tasks at elevated heights
• Maintain clear communication with team members
• Move quickly and efficiently to manage workload
• Maintain physical stamina to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as using tools or handling small objects

Work Conditions

• Work Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays, as needed
• Environment: While primarily indoor, with adequate lighting and ventilation, duties may mainly be performed in a warehouse setting. This may include exposure to various temperatures, dust, noise, and moving machinery
• Primary Work Stations: Primarily work within the main areas of responsibility, including warehouse floors, storage areas, and common areas. Duties will also involve working in spaces where inventory and equipment are stored and ensuring these areas remain organized and free from hazards
• Dress Code: Durable, comfortable clothing, such as work pants and a work shirt
• Adherence to health and safety guidelines is paramount, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Exposure: May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and cleaning chemicals
• Noise Level: Usually low to moderate, with occasional loud periods from equipment and tools
• Interaction: Constant interaction with team members in a fast‑paced retail environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Over one year of Warehouse Clerk experience is preferred. Proficient in Outlook and Excel/Word WMS knowledge, NCR or DROSTE Complete the company’s OSHA-accredited forklift training
