Job summary

NEFCO Corp. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Inventory Associate to manage inventory control at the main distribution center. You will perform cycle counts, handle special inventory projects, and support processes that keep inventory accurate and auditable.

This non-exempt role requires basic computer skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work Monday through Friday, typically 40 hours, with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with ERP software is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  • Lead or participate in special inventory projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Supervisor to minimize discrepancies and data errors.

Reports to – Inventory Supervisor

Job Summary

The Inventory Associate will be responsible for all activities relating to inventory management and control in our main distribution center.

Job Duties
  • Inventory cycle counts
  • Hands on job responsible for special inventory projects
  • Work directly with Inventory Supervisor and other to minimize material ‘can’t finds’ and ensure accuracy/integrity of inventory
Details
  • Monday – Friday
  • Typically 40 hours
Qualifications
  • Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have a positive, hard-working attitude
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and little supervision
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time
  • Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents
  • Analytical ability including basic math skills
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • This is a non‑exempt position, eligible for overtime.
