Job summary

American Lumper Services LLC is seeking an experienced Dock Operations Manager to oversee inbound Lumpers and coordinate the daily warehousing activities, ensuring production, productivity, quality and customer service standards meet time limits and daily performance goals.

You will lead staffing, training, and supervision across multiple shifts, maximize efficiencies, and provide ongoing performance reporting while maintaining a solution-focused culture and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience as a warehouse supervisor.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office.
• Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, coaching, and terminating.
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

We are looking for an experienced Dock operations manager for our inbound Lumpers team. to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.

• Team building, time keeping, and conducting new hire training
• Maximize efficiencies to increase productivity
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance
• Organize and maintain the work area.
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
• Maintain item records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
