Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors is seeking a dependable Helper / Stocker to support delivery operations at our Portland, ME location. You will assist with safe handling of building materials from the warehouse to delivery sites and help ensure products arrive orderly and on time.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 6am–4pm. The role requires lifting up to 250 lbs with assistance, forklift training, and a commitment to safety. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building material products preferred.
• Ability to unload, transport and position building materials as required.
• Ability to follow safe methods of transporting material from truck to site.
• Forklift training/certification may be required by ABC Supply Interiors.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend and twist during shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Accurately distribute and place materials as indicated.
• Examine and record all material transported to/from the delivery site.
• Verify quantity and type of materials handled.
• Keep delivered product neatly placed and presentable.
• Clean up debris and dispose of it properly before leaving the site.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently when trained.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites as assigned.
