Job summary

Americold seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse functions, including operations, transportation, personnel, and customer service, aligning with company objectives and OSHA compliance.

You will manage budgets, assign work, monitor performance, and maintain positive relationships with customers and union representatives while driving safety and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• College degree in business, logistics, or management plus minimum 5 years of experience required in warehousing or logistics management.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Proven ability in planning, staffing, budgeting, and organizing warehouse operations.
• Experienced with AS/400 and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing operational challenges and implementing effective solutions in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse functions, costs, operations, and forecasts to ensure performance.
• Develop and manage the annual facility budget and ensure adherence across departments.
• Direct and assign work, set performance objectives, and monitor progress toward goals.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Represent the company to warehouse customers and negotiate with labor unions.
