Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Warehouse Worker to ensure orders are pulled, packed, shipped, and received accurately with minimal damage. You will operate various material handling equipment and maintain inventory control to meet delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include transporting items within the warehouse, recording stock levels, and following HS&E policies. A high school diploma is preferred, with 1–3 years of related experience and a readiness to start at 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related job experience.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
• Experience operating a variety of material handling equipment (lifting platforms, forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and supplies into and around the warehouse to ensure on time delivery of goods and supplies.
• Deliver general warehouse tasks using various material handling equipment to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded with agreed procedures.
• Perform basic inventory control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records following established inventory control procedures.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
• Adhere to the organization's Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) policies, procedures and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to oneself and others in the workplace.
• Utilize and understand the warehouse operating systems to receive, print orders and locate inventory on the floor.
• Develop and maintain excellent skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
• Perform additional duties as required.
